Coronavirus update

Matthew 6:31-33

Therefore do not be anxious, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

March 26, 2020

At Walden Community Church we are doing our very best to stay current with the news and how COVID-19 is spreading across our state. We miss all of you terribly and we will try everything we can to keep you feeling informed and connected.

Local Hospitals are now at Level 2- this means No Visitors are allowed and Pastors are only able to visit on an Emergency basis. If you know of someone who is in the hospital, please call the church or send an email through the prayer chain

Our Sunday Morning worship services and weekly Group Bible Studies will not take place until further notice.

We will move to a stronger online presence and will take full advantage of our social media channels like facebook and youtube.

ADDITIONAL STEPS

1. Hand Sanitizer. wall-mounted cleaner is available on our campus at most of our doors, please make sure you are using this feature to protect our campus and our staff. According to the latest news from the CDC simply washing your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds is even better and can help slow the spread of the virus.

2. Campus Cleaning Services. Our contracted provider for cleaning our facility has cleaned our campus thoroughly and gives extra attention to our high impact surfaces

Pastor David and the staff will regularly use as many of our social media channels as we can. We are also actively seeing how we can use online streaming and quite possibly short wave radio if possible. Of course you can always listen to past sermons here on our website.

GIVE ONLINE

Now is a great time to set up your account to give through online giving. You can set up Walden Community Church as one of your monthly responsibilities. We even have a helpful page that can walk you through it. If you need additional help – we are sure that if you call your bank – they’d be happy to help. Of course you can always walk your gifts in to our office Monday to Friday from 9am to 3pm
