A month ago, no one would have expected that we would not be able to attend our weekly church services. Besides missing the fellowship of our fellow Christians and opportunity to worship God together, there is another unfortunate result.
Since we’re not together, giving has been reduced significantly, over 75%.
While we are not able to meet in person, the business of the church continues.
Salaries, insurance, and the electric bill all still have to be paid. We would ask that everyone keep up their tithe, so that we can meet the commitments we made when we established the budget for 2020.
Obviously, if you have been financially affected by this crisis, we completely understand.
Also, if you have needs that your church family might be able to help with, please reach out to the church office or email Pastor David. As we emerge from this crisis, the community is going to need Walden Church even more than before.
We have to insure that we’re able to continue what programs we can now, and be well positioned when things return to normal.
