COMMUNITY GROUPS

Church can feel big and cliquish some time. So how do you plug in? How do you find where you fit? That’s the challenge: trying to make a big church feel small. At Walden Church we know how difficult finding your pace can be and so we believe Community Groups are where to begin.  Search the list below to discover a community designed for you.

  • New members

A church should feel like a family. It shouldn't feel like an event. That's why MEMBERSHIP is important because we weren't meant to go through life alone. When it comes to finding your purpose, using your God-given gifts to serve, and surrounding yourself with community, we want to give you a path to follow.  Taught by Pastor David – contact the church office and ask to be added to the next class list.

  • EXPLORE

Join an authentic community as we seek new life and freedom in Christ. We partner with Explore the Bible, a year-long study that meets every Sunday morning. No need to sign-up in advance. Feel free to just show up and check out this amazing class. You are invited to sit in with us anytime at 11 am in the Family Life Center – class taught weekly by Kelly Dickens (pictured) and Rev Jerry Clark

  • GRIEF SHARE

Led By Caring People Who Have Experienced Grief & Successfully Rebuilt Their Lives. We Understand How You Feel Because We’ve Been In The Same Place. Learn More About Groups. Counseling Services. Walk-Ins Welcome. Welcoming Environment. Taught by Linda Headley and Peggy Mcdermott (pictured)

  • STEPHEN'S MINISTRY

Stephen Ministers are congregation members trained to provide care to those experiencing a difficult time in life, such as grief, divorce, job loss, chronic or terminal illness, or relocation. Stephen Ministers come from all walks of life, but they all share a passion for bringing Christ’s love and care to people during a time of need.

  • Young families

Do you have young children: infants, toddlers, early elementary? Are you new to parenthood? Is your life as chaotic as ours? Being a parent is such a gift, but at the same time it can be challenging. We weren’t intended to go on this journey alone. Today we want to support one another, develop friendships and to partner together to give our kids a faith that sticks. You are invited to our Community Group contact:
